My advice….keep walking, don’t stop by
Very unimpressed.
We visited Bournemouth today. Decided to get ourselves some chips.
Ordered one portion of chips, a haloumi burger (with chips) and 3 bottles of drink, cost £16.
Admittedly the poor staff were rushed off their feet but when we opened the bag they had forgotten the chips.
Had to queue again to get the missed off chips.
Can honestly say the wait was definitely NOT worth it.
The chips were hot but insipid, pale and unappealing. My son said the haloumi burger was just ‘ok’, he’s had better.
The portions was quite small too.
So not worth the money. We visit Bournemouth frequently but will give it a miss next time.

Harry Ramsdens Media City
Patient friendly polite staff. Always greet with a big smile and a warm welcome. Have tried most of the stuff on the menu. Fave is fish bites and chips. 2nd place is the chicken burger. Beats The rivals in the food court. I eat here two to three times a week. The fish is delicious and the chips are a good portion. Piping hot and nice and fluffy on the inside. Just how chips should be.
WOW! that was amazingly s..t!
so my jumbo sausage and chips was 2 small sausages and a fist full of inedible chips with plenty of black bits to crunch on. The price was disgusting for what you got. When I said "is that it?" she said " yeah I know" and looked embarrassed. Good way to put your staff in a daily humiliating position. I bet the morale is way high ? no wonder so many closed down? Never again from me.
An excellent meal
An excellent meal - piping hot, not greasy and delicious! Good, efficient and courteous service.
Well done to all the staff at Harry Ramsdens, Warwick South Services on 20/04/2022 at 2.00 p.m.

Both myself and my wife visit and eat…
Both myself and my wife visit and eat here at cheshire oaks shopping village in ellesmere port quite often, always had good service and we are looked after, cannot fault it, I got the name of the lady today who was very kind and thank you to Gill and staff who are always polite. And a happy birthday to Helen, you know me as the guy with the hat, many thanks again..
Harry Ramsden’s Brighton - Not worth it!
Harry Ramsden’s Brighton- what can I say. Service poor, waited almost 20 minutes to order a take away then another 15 minutes + to get the food. Staff seems all over the place, they are getting plates of food ready but forget about the people ordering take aways. The serving area looks messy too, staff taking food with their bare hands and move the food around on the plates , that is very off putting. Ask for two cans of coke, but I was told it’s only for online orders, there’s a fridge full of fizzy drinks! Weird! Food was ok slightly on the too oily side. Won’t order from them again.
Avoid
Eastbourne branch just served up mostly rock hard overcooked batter with some cod in the middle, and the chips tasted like they were yesterdays re heated.
Avoid.

Very disappointed…
Blackpool.
Visited today (25.02.22) with my partner and daughter.
The jumbo sausage was replaced by two small sausages and so few chips it looked like a kids meal. The medium fish and chips turned out to be a small fish and chips. The chips were cold and the bread was stale. We sent them back to at least get some hot chips and some fresh bred to a rather unhelpful member of staff who just said, “that it was a medium fish and they had run out of jumbo sausages”. Don’t sit near to the main door either as every customer entering or exiting the building let in a cold blast of air. There were two very pleasant members of staff however who at least tried to apologise for for the poor service and brought us an additional piece of fish separately. All this including 2 soft drinks and a pot of tea for £38.

So very overpriced and food was terrible
Mushy peas were OK what there was of them
The chips Hard and not cooked properly ( did tell server but he just walked away) and I would say 70% of the chips had black eyes or some sort of markings utterly terrible will never use again
Visited Cheshire Oaks Harry Ramsdens…
Visited Cheshire Oaks Harry Ramsdens first and very very last time. Ordered Fish chips.
Fish was nice. Sorry But the Chips we not fit for a Pigs Troff. £26 for two. Would of expected nice fresh chips best of the best for the price. I rate you Minus *****.
Do not buy this
Dry, tasteless and would never buy again
Visited Swanage branch today
Visited Swanage branch today. Restaurant was not very welcoming. Food arrived quite cold, same as the restaurant. Overpriced for what we had. 1st bad experience of Harry Ramsden as motorways outlets are always good.
Overpriced for portion sizes and nothing special
Blatantly writing "The great taste of our Fish & Chips keeps our customers coming back for more" on their website homepage is both satire and insulting for their customers. Must I say more?
I have been to this chain restaurant twice (Eastbourne and Bournemouth). The food is extremely overpriced for the portion sizes, alongside charging 30p a sachet for sauces. The chips were just meh, and the fish was the most disappointing: It was just pure batter and barely had any meat inside. For a restaurant that self-proclaims to be "World Famous Fish & Chips" I expected better...
After my first disappointing experience at Harry Ramsden (Eastbourne) I decided to go again few years later (this time the Bournemouth one), but I see nothing has changed... Restaurant is still misleading and greedy as it was first day. Avoid going here at all costs.
